Patricia Yeazell - Lourdes

is a Theatre and Communication double major at the University of Tampa and a graduate of the Pinellas County Center for the Arts program at Gibbs High School. She has previously been seen in The Shape of Things, Talking With... and Hott Mes$. In her spare time she stage manages and takes part in student films. Recently she worked on the film Queer as an editor/advisor. Patricia looks forward to her senior capstone showcase in December. This will be her debut performance in a Beth Ann Morean and Will Knot Di Production.  

 

 

 

 

 

Victoria Williams - Hanna

is really excited to be joining the cast of 'Lourdes of the Flies' as Hanna. Currently she is a Senior at the University of Tampa, pursing a degree in Theatre. She was most recently seen as Emily in 'Our Town' at the University of Tampa. She has also been a part of several student films, and also was a Rhapsode in 'Reverberance.' Victoria is thrilled to be working with her fellow cast on this newest theatrical adventure!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Isabella Menna - Simmons

is a senior student of the graduating class of 2012 at Shorecrest. She has previously been seen in Shorecrest productions such as Singin' in the Rain, Westside Story, and Our Town. Isabella enjoys competing in the annual Thespians competition and is vice president of ITS. Isabella plans to major in theater at college and is looking at schools in NYC. She would like to thank her outstanding parents as well as Bill Leavengood for this wonderful opportunity and hopes that the audience will enjoy this incredible comedy as much as the cast does.

 

 

 

 

 

Holly Weber - Tess

is excited to be playing Tess in Lourdes of the Flies.  She has been seen in many other productions around the Tampa Bay area including playing Shelby in Steel Magnolias, Tess in The Sisters Rosensweig, Olivia in Twelfth Night and many others.  She is currently pursuing a degree in theatre from the University of Tampa.  She would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her, Bill Leavengood for giving her this wonderful opportunity and the cast and crew for making the experience so enjoyable.

 

 

 

 

 

Michael Vestergaard - Mrs. Clincher

has enjoyed theatre since he first began performing six years ago. Since then he has appeared in many plays at his high school, Shorecrest Preparatory, and has performed the roles of: Sasha the singing Russian in Fiddler on the Roof, Eugene in Grease, A-Rab in West Side Story, the Stage Manager in Our Town, and Male Diction teacher in Singing in the Rain. Michael plans to attend Dartmouth College in the fall of 2011 and hopes to study theatre there along with his other academic interests. He has competed in the Thespians theatre competition for four years and has advanced to the States level 3 times and garnered many awards. He would like to thank his family for their support of him throughout his theatrical career.

 

 

 

 

Alexander McGreevy
- Billy Tweetwhistle

is a young, rising actor getting his feet wet in the process of Lourdes of the Flies. He is a student at Gibbs High School, PCCA program, performance theatre major. You may or may not have seen him in a production of "Night of the Living Dead" by George Romero, performed by the Jobsite Theatre. His friends call him McGreevy, so you probably should too. He has plenty of people to thank, his father, for being such a great influence on his acting and life, all his friends for just constantly being there for him, his acting teachers Mr. Renken and Mrs. Sutherlin for helping him to realize how to actually act in such a short time, his mom, Mr. Leavengood for giving him the opportunity to take part in his original production, and lastly, you, the audience members. Because without you, we'd just be talking to ourselves on stage. Please enjoy the show!

 

Anastasia Cobb - Vita

has performed in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (Sister Helena), Grease (Female Rah Rah), Oliver! (Charlotte), West Side Story (Clarice), Our Town (Dead Woman #1), Singing in the Rain (Maid, Tap Ensemble), The Final Battle (Featured Dancer, Nagini), and A Very Potter Musical (Cho Chang). She also participates in Youth In Government where she is currently the Commissioner of Agriculture.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tamara Austin - Natalie

is a rising Senior who is a Double Major in Theater and Film at the University of Tampa. Tamara’s first Theater production at the University was Midsummer Night’s Dream followed by the Studio Theater Production Talking With… and Eve Ensler’s VaginaMonologues. She served as a Prop intern at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center for the Production Wonderland: Alice’s New Musical Adventure. Her credits also include student production films such as The Experience, Franky and Tye, Love Me Dead, Big Shot, Solace and Campus Movie Fest award winning Best Dramatic films 813A and Breaking Point. She is very excited to be a part of such a fun show with a great cast, and looks forward to more up coming productions!

Laura Peterson - Lourdes

is currently a senior at Shorecrest Preparatory School. She has been in many shows over the years, including Our Town, Grease (Annette, Radio Voice), West Side Story (Francisca, Girl), and Singin’ in the Rain (Dinsmore, Featured Soloist, Tap Ensemble) at Shorecrest. She has earned Superior ratings at the District Thespian Competition since her freshman year and has advanced to the State competition twice. She would like to thank Mr. Leavengood, her friends, and her brother, as well as her parents for putting up with her hectic schedule and making sure she was everywhere she needed to be.

 

 

 

 

Franci Holland - Hannah

is a Sophomore at Shorecrest Preparatory School. Since 7th grade she has participated in Celebrate the Arts and the Fall Showcase, singing solos, duets, playing the piano and guitar. Franci appeared in the all school production of Oliver! and has played in the Upper Division Jazz Band. Franci received a Superior rating for her monologue at the district Thespian competition in December 2010. While in middle school at Canterbury she appeared in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Robin Hood, Oliver! and played the part of Marta in The Sound of Music.  Franci appeared in her first high school production, Singing in the Rain, at Shorecrest in April 2010.

 

Madeleine Murphy - Simmons

is currently a senior at Shorecrest Preparatory School. She has has recently performed in Magic (Helena), Our Town (townsperson), and SInging in the Rain (Olga Mara, tap ensemble), although she found her love of acting years ago on the Shorecrest stage as Cruella Deville in a middle school rendition of 101 Dalmatians. She is extremely excited to be joining the cast as Simmons. Madeleine would like to thank Bill Leavengood as well as her family for making this experience possible and friends for making it so much fun. Alexandria Crawford - Natalie

is a senior at Shorecrest Preparatory School. She has been an active member of the school's theater department since her freshman year and is excited to be apart of this show. Some of her past roles include: Singin' In the Rain (WardrobeMistress, Jazz Ensemble), Our Town (Dead Woman, Church choir member), West Side Story (Shark girl), Godspell (Peggy), Oliver! Bill Leavengood is a nationally awarded, two-time Eugene O'Neill playwright whose plays have been produced Off-Broadway at Circle Repertory, Primary Stages, Town Hall, and the Chelsea Playhouse as well as regionally for the past twenty years. Successes in Florida include WEBB'S CITY: THE MUSICAL at the Mahaffey Theater, AMERICAN ROAD at the Gorilla Theater and SPECIAL at American Stage.William has taught Playwriting workshops and classes for Patel Conservatory, the Pinellas Association of Theatre Educators, the Suncoast Writer's Conference and PACT at Ruth Eckerd Hall. He has been selected "Best of the Bay" playwright by Creative Loafing in 1997, 1999, 2000, and 2005. He has been the Playwriting and Theater Director at Shorecrest Preparatory School for the last eleven years.

Set Design - Tandy Ecenia

has owned and operated her own company in Tampa for 31 years. Tandova, Inc. designs, constructs and rents, scenery and props for the entertainment industry. They also provide stage management, technical direction, set design, lighting design, event development, and graphic and AV support.

Tandova, Inc.’s recent work includes “Madame Butterfly” for the St Petersburg Opera, the Miss Florida Scholarship Pageant, West Side Story for Shorecrest Prep..Florida, the production design for the girl group “Mpress” , the Stageworks productions of “God of Issac”. “Shining City”,“Bad Dates” and “Angels in America” at the Straz and the Young Playwrights Showcase at Gorilla Theatre..  She has teamed with Artistic Director Bill Lelbach on numerous successful productions across the United States, including the acclaimed "Terra Nova" , "Talley's Folly" and a spectacular production of Bram Stoker's "Dracula". 

Tandy has worked as a Prop Master, Stage Manager, Production Manager, Art Director, Set Designer, Carpenter, Scenic Artist, Lighting Designer, Event Planner and a variety of other entertainment related jobs.  

 She also has an extensive  dance resume, having studied with Bob Audy, Jo Jo Smith and Eugene “Luigi” Lewis. and worked professionally with Bob Fosse, Tommy Tune, and flamenco artist Rogelio Rodriguez. She continues to work closely with many local dance companys.

Tandy enjoys long distance rides on her  Heritage Softail Harley-Davidson with her husband, Lash. One of her life goals is to see the cemetery sculptures of  Budapest and  Bucharest and search for relatives in Rivne Oblast, Ukraine.

Tandy’s past credits include seasons at the Alley Theatre in Houston, SFX for H.R. Pufnstuf for Sid and Marty Croft Entertainment in Atlanta, the National Tour of “1776”, the touring show of “Most Happy Fella”, t he premiere of South Africa’s ‘Ipi Tombi” for Pace Management, numerous productions with Houston Grand Opera, Greater Miami Opera, and Texas Opera Theatre.

Tandy was the Florida Prop Master on Tim Burton’s “Edward Scissorhands” and also worked on Al Pacino’s “Carlito’s Way” and Jody Foster’s “Contact.”

Costume Design by Amy Cianci

Ms. Cianci has more than 16 years of experience in costume history, design and technology. Currently, she’s a Draper for the Asolo Repertory Theatre and prior to that, was Costume Shop Manager for American Stage for 7 seasons. She has designed over 75 shows, locally and nationally and received “Best of the Bay in Costume Design” by Creative Loafing in 2004, 2005 and 2006. Design credits include The Innocents for The Asolo Rep, Godspell for The Straz Center, Anna in The Tropics, Proof and Dirty Blonde for American Stage, Don Giovanni for the St. Petersburg Opera Company, Little Dog Laughed and My Children! My Africa! for StageWorks Theatre, and Speed the Plow, Miss Julie and Game of Love and Chance for Florida State University’s Asolo Conservatory Theatre. Ms. Cianci is a Costume Historian for the St. Petersburg Museum of History and the owner of “Feed Dogs – The Future of Corsetry.”  She thanks Christopher James Technical Director of the award-winning Two-4 Productions for his unwavering love, support and artistic inspiration.

Lighting Design by Mike Wood

Mike Wood is a professional lighting designer whose work has been seen throughout the country. He holds a BA in Theatre Design from the University of South Florida and is currently the theatre design & technology instructor at Howard W. Blake School of the Arts in Tampa, FL - where he oversees the design and technology department as well as serves as technical director for the multi-million dollar performing arts complex at the school.

In addition to his work at Blake and as a freelance designer, Mike also owns and manages MWLPS, a Brandon-based production design, consultation, and staffing service that works with a wide range of clients throughout the central Florida area. Designing everything from professional theatre, to high school theatre, to weddings and corporate parties, MWLPS is able to handle it all.

Mike's work as a designer has been seen in nearly every local theatre as well as several others throughout the state and country. He has worked on shows ranging from a simple 16 channels to a fully functioning automated lighting system. He enjoys using modern technology and tools to create lighting masterpieces, and is fluent in nearly every major programming and control syntax. In addition to these lighting skills, Mike is also accomplished in AutoCAD, Vectorworks Spotlight, Lightwright 5, Adobe Creative Suite (3/4/5), and many more software packages.

Mike has designed hundreds of theatrical productions, dance concerts, and other events (all both amateur and professional) so far in his career. He is constantly looking for new and exciting opportunities to challenge not only his audience, but to challenge himself as well.
